If you’re anything like me…

For my first “official” post since releasing the link I have decided to start a new “series”, entitled “If You’re Anything Like Me…”! I think this can be an interesting way to introduce posts about things I have been liking, using, etc. So, for the inaugural IYALM – I am going to be talking about Netflix/Hulu series that you need to start watching!

  1. The Office
The Office is one of the only shows I have ever watched that I find myself actually laughing out loud from. I personally think this show is hysterical, and though I have watched from start to finish, it is also a show I use as a buffer between other series. Like when you have just finished binge watching a series and can’t decide on the next… watch literally any episode of The Office.greys-anatomy-1
  2. Grey’s Anatomy
Grey’s is one of those shows that you seriously can’t stop watching. I became so invested in this show that I watched the entire series twice. Not to mention, watching it, just makes you feel smart. I honestly feel like I myself could be a surgeon after watching this show.gggilmore_girls_468.jpg
  3.  Gilmore girls
Definitely more of a chick show, but I think anyone can get into it. I loved watching this show because of how relatable it was. It doesn’t feel like a made up story, or drama, and they don’t go through extraordinary ups and downs. It feels like real life, and somehow that in itself is interesting enough!0aa3afb3cbe3468fc6e43e50070b0810.png
This show, similarly to The Office, is by far one of my favorite shows to watch whenever. I am always down to watch an episode of FRIENDS. To be honest, this show is just a feel – good show. The cast has a way of making you feel like you’re apart of their group so-to-speak. And again, like Gilmore girls, it’s relatable.1200x630bb.jpg
  5. Desperate Housewives
Another chick show, and it’s all about the drama. This show has murder, romance, comedy, and action, basically the trifecta of shows. I enjoyed this series so much I’m currently rewatching it on Hulu.HIMYM.jpg
  6. how i met your mother
I feel like a ton of people have watched this series and even if you haven’t in whole, you’ve seen an episode or two. Similar to FRIENDS, this series is really relatable and doesn’t involve tons of drama. I know of both guys and girls who enjoyed watching this series.70143811.jpg
  7. Gossip Girl
This show is so dramatic, and petty but it really is one of the best and most binge worthy shows. Similar to FRIENDS and even Desperate Housewives it is based around a tight knit group of people, and you start to feel like you’re in the group.Breaking_Bad_title_card
  8. Breaking Bad
This show has so many twists and turns and definitely fits under the thriller category. There is murder, crime, suspense, comedy and drama all in one. There was like a serious trend going on for this show when it first came out and I jumped on that train and I’m so glad I did. I even got my dad to watch it!oitnb-season4
  9. ORANGE is the new BLACK
OITNB is by far one of my all time favorite shows and certainly one of the most bingeworthy series I have ever come across. And I know for a fact I am not the only person who thinks so! The only downside to this series is that every season takes a literal eon to come out and I am just not that patient!!maxresdefault
I chose to put this series last on my list because this series is seriously unlike any other show I have ever seen, and I mean that in the best way possible! I love each and every character on this show and the whole 80s vibe is so fun. I really enjoy every aspect of this show and would recommend it to anyone, any age. 10/10.  11/10.

To conclude this “If You’re Anything Like Me…”, I want to formally recommend each and everyone of these series to anyone looking for a new bingeworthy show to watch. They each bring something unique to the screen and I challenge you to try not to hit “next episode”!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the inaugural IYALM and I can’t wait to add to the series! 🙂

  1. A very interesting cross-section of TV watching – thanks for the recommendations! I would write more by I’m busy searching for my remote – I plan to start with stranger things 🙃🙃
